Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Chi Anh highlighted the significance of the event as the School actively expands cooperation with domestic and international businesses to build a practice-oriented training environment that meets international standards.

Three pillars of cooperation

1. Practice-based training and applied skills development

TÜV NORD will help organize internships, company visits, and send experts to teach and share professional experience with students. A highlight is the ESG E-Learning programme (Environment, Social, Governance), running from April 2026 to April 2027 on an LMS learning management platform. The programme has three progressive levels:

  • Foundation knowledge (8–16 hours);
  • Applied analytical expertise (16–24 hours);
  • Expert level, solving real-world cases (24–40 hours).

Learning is flexible in time, place and device. Students who complete the course and pass the final test receive a specialized training certificate or a certificate of completion, strengthening their profiles and career competitiveness.

2. Talent connection and career development

The two parties will create internship and work-shadowing opportunities for students in TÜV NORD's international working environment. Outstanding students may be considered for employment within TÜV NORD – an organization present in more than 100 countries with over 15,000 employees worldwide.

3. Brand communication and shared messaging

The parties will jointly organize events and specialist seminars at the University and support each other's image, admissions and recruitment information through their respective communication channels.

A new chapter in internationalization

Speaking at the signing, Mr. Le Sy Trung expressed his hope that the agreement will serve as a foundation for substantive cooperation programmes that deliver real value to students and contribute to developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam.

The partnership between TÜV NORD Vietnam and VNU University of Economics and Business not only helps renew the training model but is also a practical step in connecting business and academia, building a high-quality workforce that meets the needs of a sustainably developing economy.
